I grew up watching my grandmother, Estrella Díaz, painting oil masterpieces for a living. It was in Barcelona, Spain, that I took my first ever oil painting class at Academia Taure with my Argentinian profesor Ignacio Carmona. I took classes twice a week and they helped me learn and apply oil painting techniques, contrast, perspective, and color matching.
