One standout accomplishment that holds a special place in my heart is the destination wedding I meticulously planned for Samantha & Carlos in picturesque Puerto Rico. Nestled amidst the stunning landscapes was the mountain top venue, Hacienda El Infinito, where we embraced the beauty of the island. The venue offered breathtaking views of the ocean in the distance and the sunset behind the mountains. To honor Puerto Rican culture, we served local cuisine flavors and played some Hector Lavoe salsa, teaching the international guests some traditional dance moves. Because the bride and groom love rock over any genre, a live rock band played an electrifying soundtrack to our intimate gathering.
I embraced all the roles possible, going beyond traditional event planning responsibilities to curate a truly extraordinary experience. Serving as the master of ceremonies, I guided the festivities, ensuring a seamless and joyous celebration. Additionally, I designed custom invitations and captivating graphic elements, encapsulating the starry night lit by the full moon and the repetitive arch element that appeared in the venue’s architecture. It is with humility and gratitude that I share this destination wedding as a portfolio piece, as it represents my unwavering dedication to creating cherished moments and my sincere commitment to honoring diverse cultures through my artistic endeavors.
